What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Discipline and Determination

I strive to be a leader on and off the field. I played DE for the CCHS Packer since my 9th grade year. I missed playing during my Junior year due to surgery, however, I continued my workouts, watched film, and encouraged my team. After training hard during the Spring, I’m ready to put in the work for my Senior year.

I’m very big on Nathan Bell. I remember watching him live during his sophomore year and thinking to myself that the 2020 recruit has FBS upside. Nathan got hurt during the 2017 playoff game against Walton. Turned out to be a labrum tear. Tried rehab and brace to start with but ultimately decided surgery was best option. Surgery was performed by Dr Lyle Cain (Andrews Sports Medicine Birmingham, AL). He took his entire junior year to recover and is now 100% healthy. First off, his motor is just downright crazy, and he does a very good job of getting into the backfield. He’s strong at the point of attack, gets very good leverage and does a textbook job of setting the edge. The 2020 recruit is just a flat out football player. Seriously, Bell is one of the better 2020 defensive end prospects in the state of GA when you consider his fundamentals, quickness off the ball and long limbs. Cannot wait to see him this fall, I really think he is one of the bigger sleepers in the class of 2020 with his injury during his junior year and would assuredly have D1 offers at this point. Colquitt will have one of the best pass-rush combos in the state with Bell and Brockington coming off the edge, should be interesting to watch.
