What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my dream of playing college football.

Lankford sells his fake, and showed good command of his offense junior year, where he was primarily under center, but is now at Community Christian, and is more times than not in the gun now. Lankford has been a run-heavy QB this year, and can get tough yards down the middle of the field. Has pretty low pad level before contact, and at 215 lbs he can be tough to bring down initially. He throws a really soft pass that he does a really nice job of timing and leading his receiver with. Making a throw under pressure is Lankford’s best skill, and a big hit upcoming has little impact on his throw. Velocity needs to improve more at the next level, and I wouldn’t throw out the window him becoming a sniffer/tight end at the next level with his powerful frame. 5000 career passing yards, Lankford has a gunslinger mentality and showed that in the GA Elite Classic slinging the ball around in terrible weather. Arm strength was a question as a junior, but really made some throws this year, not always having the luxury of stepping into the pass mind you, and ripped off some long passes. At the All-Star game we watched there was plenty of zip on his short to intermediate passes, consistency with his footwork needs to improve so there is less off-balance throws. Lankford’s progression with arm strength in the last year is the most glaring enhancement to his game, a good sign as he heads into college.
