Jones was a key part to the improved passing attack at Milton last season as a junior, and senior year transferred over the Cambridge and became the leading receiver his senior year. He shows solid hands and does a nice job of adjusting to the football mid-flight. Lines up primarily in the slot. Shows good speed getting out his release. Route running and footwork looks much improved from junior year. He can be pretty deceptive with his route running even. A lot more explosive plays this year compared to last, and Jones has really developed into a big play threat. Jones is a quality football recruit, and overall shows the athletic prowess to play at a high level of football. Really like his running stride and how he seemingly glides down the field, gets by the DB’s regularly.
