What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

2016 Times Georgian Defensive POY, 2016 First Team All-Region/Area, 2016 All-State Honorable Mention, 2017 Pre-Season All-State, 2017 First Team All-Region/Area & 2018 Pre-Season All-State

Dedman plays the game with great football instincts. He is a quick-reactor to the play, accelerates really quickly to the football and explodes with his tackle attempts. His pursuit angles are top of the line, and he does a really nice job of closing on the ball carrier with zero hesitation. Football speed is really high for the senior. He does a really good job of playing off the edge, even forcing the ball carrier back in pursuit. Dedman seems like the type of player you can plug into special teams right now. Ability to finish on tackles and his overall pursuit angles lead us to believe he can play in a 4-2-5 defense as a nickle. His ability to make solo tackles out in space is a true talent, and why we think the 2019 recruit can potentially play in the FBS level, especially for an academy school. Cannot teach the way Dedman reads ball carriers in the open field.
