What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My strength is my vision and arm strength. 2021 and 2022 1st Team All Region. 3,102 yards passing last year. 32 total TDs. 75% completion percentage. 7,000 career total yards. 72% career completion percentage. 65 total TDs. 4.17 GPA
Fountain remains one of the more underrated QBs in the class of ’24. The savvy QB threw for 3100 yards and 28 touchdowns last year with a 75% completion rate. He is back again, with a lot of his top returning targets back at receiver, and a few more who are prime to breakout. The collection of receiver talent is going to allow Fountain to really showcase his arm talent. We believe that the 2024 QB has the chance to be in the running for 6A player of the year. Fountain is one of the best intermediate passers in the class of ’24. He does an incredible job of reading the 2nd level of the defense and accurately delivers a pass to his receiver in stride. His ability to throw the football over top of the defense and lead his receiver is an innate talent for Fountain. He is a bouncy athlete while in the pocket and over the last year has added some additional weight to the point that the 2024 QB is right at 190 lbs. We are fully expecting Fountain to take a step in terms of explosiveness; do a little more running but also see a jump in his arm strength too. Colleges are going to want to see the dual-threat aspect of his game continue to sharpen up considering he is just 6′. Overall, there are few QB’s in the state with the poise and efficiency Fountain displays night in and out. Completing 75% of your passes with just under 300 attempts is legit. He is a no doubt D1 talent in our eyes.
