What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

28 rec, 280 yds, 1 TD as a sophomore. 79 rec, 904 yds, 4 TD as a junior.

#9 in yards, #2 in catches across all classifications in Georgia in 2018.

I have a love and passion for the game and am always determined to be more prepared than my opponent.

Self has cooked some defensive backs last season for some long gains. He’s a deceptive route runner who shows quick feet in the first 5-10 yards. Self flat out took some passes from the defender, showing excellent blend of focus and want. He shows excellent hands making tough catches. Overall I really like his potential as a possession slot receiver at the next level. He’s a lot more athletic than originally expected, very good football speed with the ability to change directions well. Route running is very good for his class, he shows nice double moves. Spring game he made several highlight reel catches where he fully extended and high pointed the football – one occurring with a double team in the back of the endzone. Self also looks to have improved making defenders miss after the catch, plus a tough player who fights for extra yards. He’s gained nearly 15 lbs since last fall, expecting to Self look a lot more explosive in 2019.
