Dieke has legit length, and 2017 he stretched the field on just 13 catches for right at 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. He took it to another level his junior year with over 30 catches and just under 700 yards receiving. Just looking at the young athlete it’s obvious his upside. His brother played college ball and had small cup of tea in the NFL, and he grew to be 6’6′, so him growing more is not out of the question. North Clayton found a way to get him the ball more his junior year – he’s a legit weapon with his size. Throw it over the middle on a skinny post, Dieke is such a large target moving down field that he completely eclipse the DB from the ball. Dieke has a solid running stride, he doesn’t explode, but if he strides out with his long legs he can be tough to catch for sure. Working on his route running, proving to have consistent hands will help at camps this offseason as well will be key factors in his recruitment, but I find it tough to believe that FBS colleges hold off offering him considering his pedigree and upside. Dieke finished off his JR year making the Rising Senior All-Star game. Extremely nice kid, wants to make a difference at the college level. One thing that Dieke showed his senior year was that he can make catches in traffic, and with better body control. Colleges need to pay attention to the strides the senior has made the last few years and realize he is just scratching at the surface of his talent.
