Nyquann Washington – CB
Colquitt Co.

#21 CORNERBACK

OFFERS: Tulane

HT: 5’11”
WT: 175
GPA: 3.2
Class: 2020

Washington has great change of direction and his hips swivel super fast. He flips them and sticks with FBS caliber receivers no problem. He’s a good hustle player too, and doesn’t just give up on any play, which puts himself in turnover situations off tipped passes. Washington has very good hand-eye coordination for a defensive back prospect, and he makes some really tough interception. Makes a lot of plays in the redzone and in late playoff games as a sophomore. Tackling is very good for a player with his slighter frame. He shows good patience reading the ball carrier and his excellent acceleration can close a gap on a ball carrier in a blink. Really big on the young cornerback heading into his junior year. Took out Keyon Jackson in 1v1 almost all game against Grayson. Washington has gained 15 lbs and grown an inch in the last year. Washington is one of the best field corners in the state of Georgia for the lass of 2020, his quickness and strong fundamentals always puts him in good spots to make plays, and is relentless after the football when opportunities arise.
