What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I love the feeling of playing football with my brothers under the lights, but I know that this privilege doesn’t come easily in college. It takes effort, commitment, and discipline, which I am more than willing to put forth. During the football season, I am putting all my efforts into my education and my performance on the field. After the season in the winter, I am a varsity wrestler for my school in the heavyweight division. When spring comes I am training with coaches after school to enhance my agility, endurance and strength. I am prepared to take my skills to the next level. I know this requires me to give my all to the sport and that’s exactly what I plan to do.

Matthew Nyce is a fundamentally sound junior OL. He could potentially play at any position across the line and shows a great deal of versatility, but most likely projects as a C or OG at the next level. Plays offensive tackle for Benedictine and showcases both good pass and run blocking skills. He is very quick off the ball.
