Daniel was a big-time player at KIPP even as a freshman, and though he has not grown much vertically, the 2021 back continues to impress on the field. He hits top speed right away, and over the last few years he has made some big plays and against some solid competition too. Daniel had around 1500 yards the last two seasons at Lithia Springs. He sees the field pretty well and makes smart cutbacks against the defense. It’s his top end acceleration to go along with his improved pass-catching that has caught our attention his senior year. Daniel has very good balance too and is tough to knock off balance, especially when defenders go low on him. Plus, he is fearless when it comes to taking it upfield and just a sliver of space is enough for Daniel, which is great on special teams. In fact, the last two games of his HS career Daniel returned both a punt and kick-off for a touchdown.
