Anderson played a little as a freshman at Prince Avenue, and then ended up transferring to Clarke Central where he sat behind a senior, but junior year was his time to show his stuff. The 2023 passer has always shown a big arm. His bigger frame can send the football 50 yards down field pretty effortlessly, even dating back to his freshman year. Anderson can throw the ball on a line deep down field. The ball definitely leaps off his arm. Anderson needs to improve his release at get it more over the top. We are very impressed with the improvement he has made as a runner. Anderson is legit a threat, and his long running stride eats up yardage downfield. Anderson has been slept on to some degree in this recruiting class. He is an impressive arm talent who is set for a special senior year. Where would like to see him improve is his footwork, hanging around in the pocket longer and not throwing the ball off his back leg. Working on his agility in the pocket is a huge area to improve. At 6’3″ and 195 lbs., we are really impressed with the upside of Anderson.
