What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Mann is a true athlete for Hampton with the ability to play all over the field. Lining up at receiver, quarterback, and cornerback; Mann is a long-striding athlete with excellent change of direction. He is a patient tackler who drops his hips and wraps up his tackles well. He just needs to continue to get stronger and drive his legs more through the attempt, but he shows good instincts pursuing the ball carrier. Mann is exciting, and at any minute on the offensive side of the ball, he can create a touchdown. His ability to sidestep the defense and then accelerate showcases his outstanding change of direction, which suggests his upside as a defensive back is pretty high. We’d like to see him continue to improve his coverage skills, and become more natural with his backpedal. Mann is already 10 lbs. heavier than last fall weighing around 175. He should be around 190 at the college level. Given his physicality, frame, and explosiveness, Mann looks like a no-doubt D1 defensive back prospect. Considering Mann’s potential, he is one of the bigger sleeper recruits in the class of ’25.
