What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Kashama has FBS size so that alone will catch your attention. With a 6’3″ frame and just under 200 lbs., the 2025 safety has some naturally good swivel to his hips. He can rotate over and change directions in coverage well. Has good intensity closing on the ball carrier. Steps up quickly in the flats. Measures up his tackle attempts fairly well, but needs to continue to improve his pursuit angles. Kashama shows good speed to the football, he might eventually grow into an outside linebacker. The Shiloh defender has good versatility playing out in zone coverage (predominantly) but also the physicality and intensity to rush the QB off the edge. He needs to improve his tackling by getting lower, sinking his hips, and utilizing his legs to drive through the ball carrier, As of now, he tackles too high and just relies on his intensity, speed, and size to get the ball carrier down all too often. There is a lot of athletic upside, and Kashama is still pretty raw in the weight room, so we feel confident he can make a pretty big jump athletically. He’s already gained about 10 lbs. since the summer of 2023, and wouldn’t be surprised to see Kashama near 200 lbs. by the end of his senior year.
