Allison plays low to the ground, and is pretty good at slipping by the defense. He plays downhill, and is good at timing the snap and getting into the backfield fast. Allison is good at scraping off blocks and getting to the outside to make a tackle. He’s close to 217 lbs., and should be in the 230’s in college. Allison has a solid frame for sure and very good body composition from looking at his lifts. He appears to have long arms too, and that’s how he is able to get off blocks. He is definitely a run stopper, so the next step in his film is to see more action in the passing game. As we get further into his film, it looks like Allison needs more experience in general, he tends to get caught up watching the play instead of hitting his foot on the gas and attacking. He’s a solid tackler, driving his legs through the attempt. Continuing to get stronger in the hips, working on lateral quickness are a few areas to improve on, but we like his general upside and think he should be more explosive in his senior film.
