Keyshawn Walker – ATH
Appling Co.

#1 ATHLETE

HT: 5’11”
WT: 185
Class: 2021

Walker was a player that we highlighted going into the 2019 season as a potential playmaker. Appling uses his speed in a lot of ways. He can flat out burn up the field. Walker is pretty slept on at this point. At camps this summer he would have shined. Appling used him on deep balls a lot in 2019, and it’s hard to argue against the production. He can flat out burn a defense once he is striding out. They used him on the end around a good bit and it worked well. On defense was where we liked him going into junior year. He showed solid open field tackler, takes good pursuit angles. He should be able to get over 200 lbs. at the next level. Good speed, he can hit his top speed quickly. Still needs some work with his running stride being more of a forward lean. Walker was an offensive weapon for sure in 2019, his top end speed is evident and colleges should give him a long hard look with no position in particular at the moment. He’s proven to be a good player on defense, as a sophomore, and a receiver/slot on offense, as a junior.
