Taylor was solid in 2019 at Claxton as one of the primary big play threats. He is a patient runner who does a nice job of reading his blocks and weaving around defenders. Shows good vision on cutbacks where he sees a gap then has the acceleration to explode through. His top end speed is just okay, but acceleration is very good. Needs to continue to gain weight and get more explosive in the weight room. I do like the potential you see as a receiver – he makes some tough catches on flag routes with the defender draped over him. He is a good perimeter runner with how well he sees the field and cutbacks. Versatility is very good – Taylor is a just a solid football player who will absolutely play at the next level. Option teams should be very interested.
