Favors has been the all-purpose back for Griffin, a change of pace to King, a senior who had over 1000 yards on the season. He made do with his reps though, and saw time at special teams and defense too. Favors can accelerate, he uses that excellent burst to get into the backfield. Physical tackler. Good leg drive thru the ball carrier. Tough in man coverage, plays well with his hands in press coverage and times PBU’s well too. Has played very well in the playoffs this year so far, Favors looks like a solid safety prospect at this point with his combination of playing the run and attacking the pass too. Could be in store for a nice offensive year at Griffin.
