Clark is one of the more intriguing jumbo athletes in the entire state, and would definitely like to confirm that 36″ vert he reports, because that would be off the charts. He plays DT and OT at Forsyth Central. Huge athlete, working on getting out his stance a good bit over the last year, but continuing to work on flexibility is a must too. Clark needs to get stronger at the point of attack and play with more leverage when getting off blocks. He gets a little to high when engaged, which is not a complete surprise for a player that is 6’6″, and maybe his frame is a better fit at RT at the next level. Clark has gained nearly 40 lbs in the last year. He has become a lot stronger in the weight room, but his potential in the weight room is just barely being scratched too. The potential for Clark is P5 level, but he still needs to drive his feet more through tackles and blocks – really taking advantage of his large frame. There is work to be done, which is why his only FBS offer at the moment goes to ECU.
