What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Three sport athlete throughout high school (football, wrestling, field). All Region defense, All State selection by Georgia Coaches Association. Placed 3rd in state in 220 pound division for wrestling. Qualified for state in discus ad shot.

Hammond is quick off the football, but really makes him shine is his motor. He uses his hands well, very active and gets fairly good leverage too. Frame is limited, at 6’2″ and already 215 lbs, you can see Hammond get to around 240 and play defensive end. No doubt he can produce, and going against a heavily recruited D1 OL at ELCA, he produced well with a lot of tackles for loss. Hammond has a nose for the football, he’s pretty quick at getting into the backfield. Needs to consistently play low, at times he gets too high when engaged. Very good at getting low with his tackles, does a nice job of meeting the ball carrier in the waist. I think the 2020 recruit can continue to grow physically, but at the same time, I’m curious to see if he plays some linebacker his senior year. Working on his lateral quickness would be a nice improvement, but like how he backside pursues the ball carrier, and he gets a good bit of tackles that way.
