Daniel average almost 9 yards per carry last year and had over 1500 yards rushing on the year. Union County offense has been piling up yards thru the years, but never had a rusher like Daniel. The 2021 recruit has good acceleration, and does a nice job of exploding through the hole. He hits his top speed quickly – not a surprise that he had such a long yard per carry. What I also like about the 2021 recruit is his ability to lower his shoulder, drop his pads and drive forward for more yards. For 170 lbs. back he really can pop, and he shows some legit determination getting tough yards after contact. Union County doesn’t play the toughest schedule, but even so, he was very productive against all competition. Daniel has good core strength, and with more time gaining weight he could be close to 2000 yards rushing his senior year. He could stand to be a little more elusive when he gets to the 2nd level of the defense. Honestly, the biggest jump he needs is in the weight room, it says something about his power clean being so low and his film still look explosive.
