Holt has been on our radar for years now. He’s grown a few inches, and at our combine back in spring of 2020 he measured out at 6’3.75″ and 260 lbs., while also repping 185 over 20x. He’s surprisingly quick off the ball getting out his stance fast for a sophomore. Holt is a fighter in the trenches. He uses his hands well. Getting stronger at the point of attack is the next step. Would like to see Holt drive his legs more through the block. Definitely looks to be 20-30 lbs. heavier than this time a year ago. Holt is set for a big junior year, even All-State potentially. He’s an FBS athlete, the next step is improving his production, and that starts with continuing to refine his skill set. Watching him run 20 yards down field like a deer to make a tackle definitely stands out – good motor and speed. Holt will definitely continue to grab D1 interest here over the next year and expect him to have +25 college offers.
