Smart and instinctive, Jason excels at being around the
football and making plays. He’s got the quickness to play on
the edge and also the strength to play inside. He’s a leader
on and of the field and personifies our core values.
Grey moves to the ball carrier really well, and overall we like his instincts knifing through the defense. He has good anticipation for the play and his above average acceleration allows for him catch up the ball carrier on the perimeter. He hustles his tail off in pursuit of the ball carrier. Would like to see him work more on lateral movements and try to set up his tackles better by keeping pads square to the LOS. Grey shows some flashes, his junior year we hoping to see him become a team leader in tackles and continue to gain weight while improving his skill level.
