Felix got all of the hype during his freshman year and solidified himself as a big-time P5 back. He hits his top speed fast, and it’s pretty clear that is what makes him so effective. Felix just accelerates fast. His top-end speed is solid, but given his size at around 200 lbs., he is a solid all-around back. What I do like about Felix is that he shows extremely good balance, and is able to take on contact, bounce off of it and just keep his feet for more yardage. He does that time and again. Overall though, I would like to see more lateral quickness with Felix changing directions, and just being more elusive with the ball in his hands. He’s really a straight-line runner without true breakaway speed. He is for sure a very powerful football player, and he shrugs off tacklers with relative ease too. Senior year he is really getting a good bit of reps at linebacker, which I didn’t really expect, but the 2022 athlete is looking good playing off the edge at NB or at LB. His excellent acceleration allows for him to get into the backfield quickly and really attack the offense.
