Favors must be new to the game, he doesn’t have any sophomore film, and was completely off our radar until he filled out the recruiting form at the beginning of the season. Favors blocks way too high, but at 6’6″ that’s expected for a young football player. He does keep a pretty flat back while engaged, and drives his legs through the block, well not always – needs to be more consistent. Looked pretty solid against Clarke Central – definitely can see the raw upside to play FBS football. Definitely a football player to watch closely this fall, he is in store to take a big jump with the right training either way. Favors tore his knee up this offseason and told us he will most likely end up at Georgia State, but we think a P5 team might jump in late with an offer. The size is legit, and he’s a good student and just a nice young man in general.
