What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Leadership

Sanders stepped into the QB job in 2021 for Brooks County and was excellent, but at the next level he is certainly more of a RB. The 2022 does have some good zip on his passes. He’s a powerfully built young man, but at only 5’7″, he’s still pretty undersized. The Brooks staff raved about Sanders tho. His quickness and speed to get around defenders was the best on the team. Sanders has solid acceleration. He has good balance and is able to keep his feet after contact fairly consistently. Sanders is good football player, but will have to find a spot at a skill position at the next level. Whether that is slot receiver or running back, that will depend on schemen and how good his hands are, but he has the quickness and explosivness to do well. Sanders should be a favorite next fall to be player of the year in Class A Public too. The 2023 recruit has excellent speed, given his size, that might still impact his recruitment. We’ll see, a strong camp season with outstanding 40 times will change the perception fast considering his excellent production and winning on the field.
