Patterson gets inside his opponents pads quickly, there he can drive them back with his brute leg strength. He shows good hip flexibility and we really like his ability get to the 2nd level. The 2019 offensive guard is a tough player and seems to have a really big motor blocking his man all the way until whistle is blown. Also really like that he has a background in wrestling, which from our experience bodes very well for offensive lineman at the next level. Patterson needs more time in the weight room and needs to lose some youth weight – that should help with his quickness and his ability to pull across the line of scrimmage. Div 1 football schools should be interested heading into his JR year, especially if he can work on his snapping and slide over to center or he could potentially grow another inch or two.

What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Starting varsity in two different sports has given me an advantage over many other opponents. I placed in the top twelve during wrestling season and my football team went to the playoffs for the first time in a while. Being only one of the few people to start as a sophomore I am going to do what ever I can to make the next two years even better.I plan to do everything I can to prepare myself for the next level of athletics when my graduation comes. Thank you for taking the time to look at my interests.
