McEachern will be ushering in a new QB this season and senior Malik Evans looks to be the top option. He will add a different dynamic to the McEachern offense with his ability to run the read option, and his skill set will compliment their plethora of speed at running back. He shows a serious arm out there on the field and textbook form. Evans will be on the move a lot this season, as McEachern want to get him out of the pocket, and utilize his skills on various play fakes to create favorable matchups. We have watched Evans live, he is a gifted runner with the ball in his hands, capable of getting out in space and making big plays. He is a really strong student as well and I it believe says a lot about his character that he did not transfer out despite having to wait until his senior year to start.
