Banks has taken a step forward each year at Coffee and this offseason he has been committed to his success, making good improvements in the weight room. Banks uses his hands pretty well to rip through blocks and has a pretty quick swim move. He is strong at the point of attack, showing strong legs while engaged and keeps a good flat back when matched up. Banks has a fairly quick first step, and does a nice job of staying low. He claims to now be 6’1″, but when watching his film and how he carries his weight, I wonder how much more can Banks hold. Maybe 275? That seems possible without losing much of his quickness at the point of attack. What we would like to see this fall is finishing the plays off stronger and getting more tackles for loss.
