The 2021 back has been part of crowded backfield the first two years of his high school career, but junior year has been a breakout campaign. Daniel runs with low pad level, and changes directions very well, making quick concise cuts up field. Daniel also shows some versatility lining up in the slot, where his route running looks pretty solid. Daniel is just a good runner, he gets up field quickly and reads the hole quickly. He has the type of acceleration to pick up big chunks, and doesn’t go down easily either. Good stiff arm, uses it a good bit with results. Daniel should easily be over 200 lbs and considering his long running stride, he could really be one of the steals in this class. Rushed for 923 yards his junior year, had 12 touchdowns, and even more impressive average 102.6 yards per game. Daniel has been gathering D1 interest this offseason.
