Ivory keeps his head on a swivel, and he creates his fair share of interceptions during his early HS career at Dooly Co. Ivory is just a pure football player, he can really do it all on the field. Even at receiver, he’s good at reading the defender and making well-timed cuts. Had about 3-4 interceptions as a junior. Shows very good ball skills – squares up and nice looking high point. Tackling is pretty good too. I like the depth he gets and how fluid he looks backpedaling – Ivory can really cover a lot of ground just backpedaling. Definitely plays basketball, you can just tell with his timing of these passes and overall hip quickness he shows. Senior year Ivory is lined up at Crisp Co. at DB and also doing some returns on special teams too. He’s been playing a deep safety role but also lined up at boundary corner some too. Ivory is a versatile player who consistently makes plays and done just that moving up to 3A. Tackling looks a bit more physical and he is doing a good job of shading the play and then going full sprint when he has the ball carrier lined up.
