McCombs looks the part before there is even a snap, but watching through his film an the athletic upside is beaming. He gets to the 2nd level well. Shows a strong lower base perfect for OG at the next level. Pretty good pad level, but would like to see him flatten out his back. Definitely looks like McCombs needs to work on flexibility. Shows very good body control while blocking out on the edge. Uses length well to get leverage and is good driving his legs through the block. McCombs needs to get stronger though. He is not finishing completely off these blocks. I like the overall body composition and at 285 lbs. you can bank on him getting over 300 lbs. at the next level. McCombs looks to be set for a strong senior year if he has made the jump in the weight room.
