Maybe I’m the odd one, but Collier is one of the the players in the class of 2022 that I think has the most upside. He has gone up against some very good competition in 2020, and once against I’m impressed. He keeps a pretty flat back while engaged. It’s his feet though. They are so quick, and he just slides them in pass coverage so well. He has a pretty quick kick-step, and you see him handle good D1 pass rushers on a regular basis. Does he need to get stronger and fill out his frame? Yes. He’s not a prototypical OT, but he is definitely one of the best pass blockers in this recruiting class. Bigger area of focus is how will he fill out his frame, and also just getting lower in his stance and more flexible in the hips. If he can hit on all of those areas, I think Collier can end up being a steal in this class. Also, wouldn’t be surprised to see him get some attention at center too – that’s probably where his frame fits the best.
