Finally got Watson to update some film and got to take a look. The 2021 OT prospect is pretty quick getting to the 2nd level of the defense. He’s aggressive but seems to also lose body control. Really like how he seals off the edge when they run off tackle. Nice bach arch while engaged and does a very good job of generating power from his lower body while blocking. Watson is just scratching the surface of his potential, and just at 235 lbs. he has so much room for improvement. He needs more work with his hand placement and just slowing things down at times too. Watson has a nice fluid running stride and given his size. It will be interesting to see how he fills out over the next year and what his senior film could look like even. Now up to 250 lbs. a 15 lb increase from last fall.
