Fairbanks has the size you want to play at the next level, and at 6’2″ and a family with fairly large people, it’s easy to see the 2021 recruit eventually growing to be way over 200 lbs. He is a fairly smart player, but needs to be a bit more aggressive, and just react to the play. Fairbanks played mostly in blowouts and JV ball as a junior. His length really plays a big factor in defending the pass and he does a pretty good job of raking the pass out. Fairbanks simply does not have much film to go off in varsity play, his offers are more about his potential than actual production, plus he is an outstanding student with qualifying test scores already. He needs to work on his flexibility a good bit and just get quicker in the hips.
