Witherspoon had the eyes of many colleges going into his junior year, but a knee injury sidelined him from having that impactful season he sought. The 6’5″ receiver looks to be near 100% from offseason film and has continued to add muscle to his frame. The 2025 tight end is around 225 lbs. at the moment. He is pretty quick coming out his breaks and shows light feet changing direction. Continuing to improve his agility should be a major focus. Witherspoon has an impressive release exploding upfield and catching defensive backs asleep. Witherspoon physical blocker who gets good leverage and does a nice of utilizing his length. He needs to improve his balance while engaged and improve his hand placement. Witherspoon is an intriguing prospect in a TE recruiting class that is very good in this state. Watch for him to recapture the attention of colleges during this evaluation period where they can see him live.
