What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Very versatile QB can extend the play and has a very big arm. Tuff to bring down. Captain award and been a starter since 9th grade.

Clark has been starting for Spalding for multiple seasons now. He came onto the scene with a good bit of recognition, and the prospect was talked about a good bit, especially on the west side of the state. As a junior, he threw for 1723 yards and 14 touchdowns on top of 880 rushing yards and 11 scores too. Clark has continued to bulk up now and is around 215 lbs. – up about 10 lbs. over the last year. He is a deceptive runner who has another gear to his game that throws off defenders. Clark has a strong arm, that stands out right away on film. He can pinpoint a laser on the run. There is little doubt about the physical tools of Clark. He is a solid athlete who can run through tacklers or get around them all at once. Clark has a nice little hesitation move to juke defenders out of their shoes. We like his arm talent a lot, but he does need to get better with his timing as there are several scenarios where the ball hangs up and it’s mostly due to Clark just holding onto the football for too long. Senior year we expect to see Clark take a jump as a dual threat for sure. There are several runs where he is really close to blowing the lid off the defense but needs to continue to keep his feet through the contact. We fully expect the senior to rush over 1k yards this fall, and prove to be one of the best dual threats in the state in 2023.
