Region 2-AAA second team all region. 142 rushing attempts 740 yards. 8 rushing touchdowns. 62-169 passing for 1,038 yards 14 touchdowns. 4 interceptions 11 games.
Saxton is a quick dual threat QB who runs with authority. He has a solid arm with plenty of strength to get the ball out to the side line or throw it on the run. Saxton is a creative QB and can turn something out of nothing. We really like his upside, so spread offensive teams should get the athletic signal-caller on campus. Of note, every scout that saw him live talked about how live his arm was and came away very impressed. Extremely high-character player. Elite short-space quickness, and does a nice job of setting up the defender with his jukes. Outstanding vision on the field, would be perfect for the option.
