Johnson has solid speed and once he strides out can be hard to catch from behind. He is a good route runner but would like to see him become quicker with his breaks and really dig into the DB. Johnson has been a primary target this fall, he shows nice balance after the catch breaking tackles. Very smooth getting out of his breaks when running routes. Last season he had 413 yards passing on 33 catches and 3 TD’s. He has certainly passed that total, but Peachtree Ridge passing attack is nothing to write home about. He’s extremely good at reading the ball mid-flight shielding the defender from the ball and timing his acceleration on the pass creating last second seperation.
