The Barnes brothers somehow had their info mixed up in our database, and somehow Corey ended up coming out with a lot of the same info as his brother. They are very different players for sure. Barnes is a fast wide receiver, probably some of the best top-end speed here in the state. He just flies down field with an impressive long-running stride. Barnes has legit explosion; shows the natural quick-twitch to be a big-time explosive receiver. He needs to work on reading the football and timing his jump better. Pretty good running his routes explodes out of cuts. Barnes is one of the bigger sleepers in the state at the receiver position, a little more work with his ball skills would be nice. That’s why he could end up being a CB for the same reason. He’s super fast and explosive but doesn’t show the best instincts gauging the football. He’s pretty dangerous after the catch – good balance. At 190 lbs he should continue to add good weight. Barnes has some P5 potential when you gauge his athletic upside.
