What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My work ethic puts me ahead of every other athlete with the same measurables and stats as me. I bring energy to the field and weight room. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my game.

CJ Ford is a really impressive sophomore athlete with elite measurements for his age group. He seems perfect for the OLB role, and has the speed to get out to the sideline and cut off most RB’s. Over the last year Ford has dropped his 40 time from 4.78 to 4.66. Even more impressive is his 4.2 shuttle time and 9’5″ broad jump that he scored this spring. Look for that number to continue to drop in the coming years. Ford’s early film shows his outstanding football speed on display, as he runs down plenty of QB’s and RB’s from behind. Ford is a hard tackler and once he makes contact the ball carrier is down. Really impressed with his awareness on the field, and we see him making tackles in pursuit from way down field. That sort of energy and understanding of the game is a great attribute to see early on for a player of his athleticism. At his current progression he should end up receiving heavy FBS interest over the years.

This 2020 player has high keen sense of ability when attacking the line of scrimmage. Has a good body type to grow and develop into for the OLB position. Sheds his blocks very well while keeping sight of the ball inside the tackles. Good placement with his hands and feet that complements his motor during each down. His Lateral movement at this stage of development is impressive which helps his learning curve in giving chase at good angles for scrambling QBs or RBs attempting to attack the corners. Maintains full contact during the progression of tackles placing the body of the opponent convincingly upon the yard lines. He will be a force to reckon with has the season approach towards 2020

So much upside! 6’2 205 and can run! Quick to the edge and has a nack for sacking the quarterback. D1 School should be all over this kid.

A kid with talent but very selfish on the field and a lot of attitude
