Crews is a true football player with elite acceleration. He is flat out a playmaker with a nose for the football. Like so many Glynn Academy players, he is a fundamental tackler, who explodes at the hips and meets the ball carrier square in the numbers. On D he keeps his shoulder pads parallel to line of scrimmage and he shows good speed getting out to the sideline and hedging the ball carrier back into pursuit. We are really impressed with the 2018 safety and their is certainly a spot for him at the next level despite his smaller stature. His football IQ is just way too high for him to go unnoticed by FCS colleges and local schools should seriously watch his film. He fits in well at nickle or 5th DB at the next level. Senior year Crews is playing a lot on the offensive side of the ball and returning kicks. He made a one prolific 25 yard run where he weaved thru the whole Brunswick D for a score.
