Patterson has put on 30 lbs. since his sophomore year, and has gone from interesting 2021 recruit to a full blown FBS prospect. He carries his weight well, and should just continue to pour that on over the next few years. Has really good leg drive, gets out of his stance pretty quickly. Hand placement is not always good, doesn’t take advantage of his height. Patterson could be a whole lot better with just some work with some minor fundamental issues. The 2021 recruit is huge and is tenacious enough to get his man on the ground with relative ease. Overall, his athleticism should attract P5 schools as he should continue to make good strides in the weight room. Very good student too, he will be a coveted recruit in this class for sure. Needs to get quicker with his feet in pass pro and keep his chest up more while blocking.
