Huge OL wants to really sell his LS potential, but the reality is not many athletes have the size he does in this recruiting class, and watching him in the Corky Kell classic live, that size is absolutely legit. Just scratching at the surface of his potential, he needs to get quicker with his feet when pass blocking, kick step needs to be sharpened up, but shows a ton of urgency at the same time. Gets up field quickly. Uses length well when blocking. Does a nice job getting out his stance. Fairly flat back, that can definitely be improved. Solid flexibility. Very good film junior year, he went up against several FBS DE’s on film and shows very good film. The 2021 recruit can be dominant, and given more time with college level coaching he should be a multi year starter at the next level. Pitchford is one of the best OL recruits in the state that no one is recruiting heavily yet.
