Faulkner was an All-State athlete selection in 3A last season. The 2025 athlete threw for 1706 passing yards and 19 touchdowns while also rushing for 929 yards and 18 additional scores. Those are good dual-threat numbers, but then you realize Faulkner also put up 645 yards receiving, 9 more scores, and even several interceptions on defense for good measure. There wasn’t a player who had a bigger impact on his team in 3A in 2023. Faulkner made key winning plays for his team, helping them to their first-ever ranking in 3A and the deepest run in the playoffs in school history. Faulkner is an explosive athlete who accelerates to his top speed quickly. He is a P4 caliber athlete with his ability to accelerate out his break, and you can clearly see where wide receiver would be a great fit for Faulkner at the next level. He has the prototypical size and the ball skills you look for in an X receiver. Does a great job of tracking the pass, high-pointing the football, and being the aggressor for the pass. Faulkner runs with zero fear and showcases great vision on the field. His weightlifting numbers suggest that he is really just scratching at the surface of his athletic potential. Going into senior year, we would like to see him have a bigger impact against the top competition in his classification and drive Lumpkin County to the best record in school history.
