What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Playmaking ability and a coachable athlete

Lewis is a high-upside possession receiver in the state who is just scratching at the surface of his potential. Standing at around 6’5″, the 2025 pass-catcher hits his top speed in a short few strides. His excellent top-end acceleration into his release suggests that Lewis has a lot of potential as a vertical threat. Lewis is pretty good at fighting through contact, and making tough catches while being tackled simultaneously. That said, we would like for him to utilize his huge frame better and be more consistent in shielding defensive backs from the football. Lewis is a solid route runner but needs to get more explosive coming out of his cuts. He has good vision after the catch but would like to see him break more tackles and just be more assertive getting upfield. Incorporate a stiff arm and utilize his length to his full advantage. Lewis needs to continue to get lighter with his feet, sharpen up his agility and we feel like he can be one of the best possession receivers to come out of the state for the class of ’25. Of note, Lewis is now up to 218 lbs., which is about a 20 lbs. increase from his sophomore year. That’s impressive and suggests that the 2025 pass-catcher has some potential as a slot TE at the next level. Considering his good blocking on the perimeter, it would be seemingly a great fit.
