Dessin wasn’t the starter last year, but is quickly making do with his increased reps at the position showing off good speed getting into the 2nd level of the defense. I like the urgency he shows right when he gets the football. He has pretty quick feet in the tackle box. Nice size at 5’11” and 200 lbs. He has solid pad level, decent forward lean. Dessin has done really well his senior year with 1300 yards rushing. He shows good quickness coming out his breaks. We thought he would be set for a big senior year and get over 1k, and that’s exactly what happened. I think getting to the 2nd level and showing a little better vision will help these plays go for even more yards. Dessin is a really good athlete though, and should add another 15 lbs. at the next level too.
