A Pair of FBS Offers for Morrison

Trey Morrison, a rising junior from Greater Atlanta Christian, received great news today when Georgia State offered, and just a few hours later Troy did as well. The Sun Belt schools are the first two offers for the physical cornerback, and receiving two FBS offers really meant a lot to the junior sleeper.

“It truly means a blessing from God, I’ve been waiting patiently for this opportunity, and it is finally here,” Morrison said about the offers from the Panthers and Trojans.

The competitive cornerback is the best 5’10” corner in the state of Georgia and plays the game with a chip on his shoulder. The rising senior is a playmaker and soon enough more FBS programs will take notice.

Right now, Morrison has several visits in line. “I’m going to Mississippi State this Saturday, and I’m going up to Wake Forrest, and that’s really all. I don’t know the schedule yet, but I’m trying to get out to Wisconsin – it’s pretty far.”

Morrison has a lot confidence in his ability, and believes his style of play can add a physical dimension to a college program. “My physicality, and my ability to read the game, and know what’s going on around me at all times. I just love to hit. I bring that to the table, and I can also cover well, so it’s a lot of things. I’m a competitor, I love to compete.”

Morrison’s HUDL video is at the top of the article. You will see his physical play at cornerback in action and see why he is one of the best in the state of Georgia. Contact Morrison on Twitter by clicking HERE.
