Bird Lands on Two Offers

North Paulding outside linebacker prospect Tyler Bird has been garnering more FBS interest by the day, and this afternoon both Georgia State and Colorado State joined Miami of Ohio as colleges in pursuit of his football services.

“It’s exciting. It shows that all of my work is paying off,” Bird said about the two offers.

A pass coverage specialist at linebacker is becoming a more coveted skill-set among colleges, and Bird fits that mold perfectly. He reads the QB’s eyes and does a great job of reacting out in space. The 2018 recruit has continued to pack on weight and has gained about 20 pounds in the last year, while also making significant gains in the weight room.

Expect more mid-majors to seriously consider the North Paulding backer who only continues to make tremendous strides both on the field and in the classroom where he sports a 3.9 GPA. The hard working rising SR will be a name to follow during the evaluation period, as more FBS/FCS programs are certain to watch his film, and offer.
