One of the best running backs in the class of 2018 is Buford’s Christian Turner. The athletic back has received six offers in the month of February so far, with Tennessee and Tulane both offering today.

The latest string of offers has instantly turned the 2018 back into one of the more coveted backs for the 2018 class in the Peach State. We asked Turner about the recent upswing of college interest. “I’m excited and humbled with the attention these coaches are showing me,” he said.

In terms of Junior Days, the star Buford running back has no plans just yet but will let us know when his schedule is set. He is also attending the The Opening Combine and the Under Armour All-American Invite Camp, where our staff expects him to be really hard for linebackers to guard 1 v 1 in passing drills.

Last season for Buford, he was an unstoppable force even though he split carries in a crowded backfield. As soon as the ball touches his hands, Turner explodes upfield, showing an outstanding combination of vision and balance. At 5’10” and 185 pounds, we think Turner has the potential to get over 200 pounds and be an effective all-purpose back for a Power 5 football team.
