What are your goals for spring practice?
“My goal for spring practice is to get a sense for what my defense will look like next year and hopefully develop some underclassmen linebackers because I am the only returning starter.”
Are you camping this summer?
“I am going to the Mercer camp on June 1st as of now and I will be at at least 2 more camps over the summer.”
When would you like to make a decision?
“I’d like to make my decision by the middle of the season next year or the end of summer this year.”
Collin Miller out of North Forsyth jumped onto the scene last fall making some explosive plays on defense. The powerful linebacker prospect lines up at both MLB and OLB on film. He has a great motor hustling from all corners of the field to make a play. We really like how he finishes his tackles. Miller gets low, drops his hips, and explodes through his tackle attempts. You can see his wrestling background at work here. We really like the intensity he plays the game with. He shows aggressive hands getting off blocks and a solid-looking swim move for a young linebacker.
Miller has a passion for the game, and that kind of intensity he shows on the field is hard to replicate. Of all the various linebackers we have scouted from the class of ’23, Miller is by far one of the most energetic on the field. With five offers under his belt, we definitely think Miller will be able to double his options going into the summer. He is absolutely a linebacker prospect to watch closely.
